I'm looking for a new game(s) similar to the battlefield 2, I have only played BF2 in the series so there may be some like it from earlier or later that i don't know about.
anyway the kind of game I'm looking for is a large map FPS game with vehicles, just like BF2, time setting doesn't matter but i would prefer it to have an offline aspect to it, not just a story mode and then multiplayer, Like Battlefield 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2 and quake wars enemy territory, they all had good functioning bots in place of having to go online.
preferably on the xbox 360 but PC is fine to.
suggestions?

BF2142 was quite good, and bf1943 is out on xbox 360 but the pc version (much more players per server) is out next year

How about the original? Battlefield 1942? You just can't beat the classics and I remember having loads of fun on it before my game died. Not sure if people still play it online, so maybe try battlefield Vietnam. That was fun.

I'd say ARMA and ARMA2 (and Opp: Flashpoint) are more simulation than game - to a point. If you're used to BF2, you will seriously struggle with ARMA/2...

I played Flashpoint. The "game" felt more like work, simply because you had to make up for the AI. But also because its so real.

Or players for that matter. Section 8 is getting pretty low, though the ones it does have are the very definition of dedicated.

Fuckin A man! If only they had worked on it a bit more, adding more weapons and spawnables then it would be awesomecakes.

Oh, Battlezone 1 or 2. Although most of it is vehicle based, its still reletivly similar. Although its more like Command and Conquer in FPS style.
