Are you ready to conquer the void in the Emperors name once more?

Looks good. I'm ashamed to admit this but the first game was one of the few games I ever had refunded. Not because it was bad but just not something I could get my head around mechanically.

Loved Homeworld, just seem to prefer muh warhammer games with swords and arrows rather than melta guns.

Interesting but I'll need more than the last one, I did most of the campaign on it but never finished it because it got really repetitive very quickly. I never even tried the other race since they didn't shake things enough to be really worth it.

I'm hoping for a lot more diversity between ships and more interesting upgrade/customization.

Yeah, BFG was my GotY 2016, a real pleasant surprise, but...

Campaign needs to be more, I dunno, substantial. It was ok but just felt like there could have been more to it.

Balancing the different races with the different match types. Wasn't too bad against AI, and gave the game some nice variety, but against human players that know how to exploit different races strengths and weaknesses some match ups on certain match types were virtually unwinnable.

The skirmish mode needed more freedom to do what you want. Higher points values, have whatever fleet structure you like, allow you to choose upgrades etc so you can work out what works best in whatever situation, choose match type, choose what the enemy has etc etc. I don't see why any of that would be particularly hard.

Nerf Tau plz.

It could do a better job of explaining certain aspects of the game, especially such vital bits as the focus target button.

I'm game, as long as the guys don't flak it up again by putting MP progression into SP skirmishes.

Seriously, that was such a horribly idiotic move I don't even get how it made it onto the final release. Thank god for save editors.

I also don't see the point to so many races. Quality over quantity. You don't need two Tau fleets (seriously, Tau do not have enough ship variety to have two factions, unless you just separate Tau from their vassal races, which is stupid), you certainly don't need "Space Marines" as a faction (they literally only have two ships that aren't direct copies of the Imperial Navy. That's it. Not counting Thunderhawks). You also really don't need Corsairs and Craftworld Eldar. They're the same thing, except Corsairs do not have, surprise, Craftworlds (but Dark Eldar are different enough to include).

Especially if PC Gamer is correct and you're going to give me three different (but mostly the same) flavors of Eldar, three different (but almost the same) flavors of Imperium. That'll just be horrible.
