Just wondering anyone getting this?

I have already pre-ordered my special edition as I loved the original game but I have not seen much coverage of this game anywhere once again marketing seems to be almost zero for it. I see its being critically successful and loved by the few who buy it but ultimately ignored by most due to the console its on, the lack of marketing and the fact that a lot of focus around Nintendo is on Smash atm. (also its Platinum the makers of generally excellent games that dont sell)

For me though its my second most looked forward to game of the year after P4 Ultimax. I was just wondering what peoples thoughts on it were I know lots were up in arms about it being a WiiU exclusive and ill admit I did buy a WiiU purely for this and the upcoming Xenoblade X which was a bit annoying but since Nintendo financed it I can understand its exclusivity actually they would be stupid not to keep it exclusive for at least a few years imo.

Also if anyone has played the japanese version feel free to share your impressions.

I would love to play it. But no WiiU. I really prefer her new haircut to her old one, and she is also one of the only video game leads with glasses, that's cool too.

I'm firmly in the, loved the original but won't get a console to play this one camp. It does seem like it's not going to get the exposure it may deserve, although I suppose that by today's standards it's not very marketable (not that I'm defending that, it's a shame). I just hope for everyone playing it that like the original, it's still the perfect marriage of tight gameplay and interesting visuals, wrapped up in a zany story that does have a lot of humour going for it. I'll keep an eye on the reviews, who knows, maybe one day :)

Getting my Wii U soon hopefully and this along with Wonderful 101 is definitely going to be my first two purchases, absolutely rabid Platinum Games fan (loved them to bits since their Clover days) and generally never buy a console for one or two games but heck will make an exception this time, it looks like Platinum is stuck for the long haul with Ninty anyway.

Yeah I generally like Platinum games Bayonetta, DMC1, Okami and Vanguish in particular though even if I am taking liberties with them technically not being Platinum for all of these.

Not sure about them being with them for the long haul arent they making Korra for PS4 and Xbox one and Scalebound for Xbox One? have they got anymore games for the WiiU coming out? (hope so).

I also rarely buy a console for one or two games but with Bayonetta being one of my favourite ever action games and Xenoblade Chronicles being one of my favourite games ever I decided to take the plunge sadly I will probably never get to play Scalebound as I have personal reasons not to buy a Xbox One instead of just lacking a reason to buy it.

Ive tried to avoid any spoilers for Bayonetta 2 (not hard lol) but the small bits I have seen and heard are positive. Oh and the WiiU does have some good games..not many sure but a few at least more than the PS4 and Xbox One atm which really isnt that surprising dont know how long that will last though.

Yeah I'm looking forward to Bayonetta 2 as well.First game was absolutely bonkers and from what I've seen of the second it's looks like it's going to be more of the same.I'll probably pick up the special edition to get the first game as well.

Sadly I can't see it selling well though. The first one managed sales of about 2 million combined on 360 and PS3 and that was with a userbase of 100 million+.This time around it's launching exclusively on a console that hasn't been selling great and has a pretty small userbase and is a console that possibly a lot of fans of the original don't own.On top of that there's been very little advertising to drum up hype for the game.I hope I'm proved wrong but I can see this doing about as well as The Wonderful 101(as in not very well at all)

Actually their next 2 games are Scalebound which is an Xbox One exclusive and Legend of Korra which is a multiplatform title that appears to be launching on every platform except Wii U

I'll be buying it, if only to add another Wii U game to my collection. It's not the kind of thing I'd normally be into, but after following it for a while it seems like I could enjoy that kind of ridiculous, over-the-top fun. It looks like the silliest thing I've seen in a long time, and that's exactly why I want it.

I'll be looking to buy a WiiU when Bayonetta 2 comes out and I'll be getting the first one along with it. Hyrule Warriors and Smash Bros will, along with the new Zelda, hopefully keep me set for a while.

Also, if anyone would like to tell my lazy self when these games will be coming out in Europe, I'll be much obliged.

Getting a Wii U this week for this plus many nintendo games coming out now, finally the Wii U is tempting to buy.

Looking forward to it, also has mine pre-ordered.
I never got the chance to play the first one so I got the pack with both games in it, will be nice to try this out. Heard so much about it when the first one was released and always wanted to try it out.

Have a WiiU. Will be getting it on or around launch day. Loved the original game and I'm pretty excited for this.

I'm not a fan of spectacle fighters generally but seeing as I already have a WiiU I'll probably get Bayonetta 2 after having completed a few games I'm behind on. I never buy a game unless the backlog is under control, or I find it on sale. 6 games to go.

Yup, getting it on release day because dammit Bayonetta is one of my favorite games from last generation and I am extremely grateful to Nintendo for taking the risk that Sega, Sony and Microsoft were unwilling to and putting up the money so that Bayonetta could live again.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
This was one of the reasons I got a WiiU so yeah, I'm getting it on release.

Never played the first due to the crappy PS3 version - a month or two ago I would have said day 1 buy, but with little incentive and the appearance of a backlog for me has pushed me to wait for a price drop to around $40 (for the 1+2 combo).

Bayonetta 2 is released on Oct 24th
Hyrule Warriors is out already
Smash Bros hasn't been given a release date yet but will likely be sometime in November
Zelda will be out sometime in 2015

Thank you for enabling my laziness, good sir!

It's probably not worth waiting on a bundle with any of those games bundles, is it? And then I might as well pick a WiiU up now and play Warriors while waiting on everything else.

I pre-ordered the First Print edition as soon as they announced it. Dat box was just too fine to pass up. And seeing as it was sold out the next day I'd say it was a wise decision.

Man with Hyrule Warriors, Smash, Alien and Bayonetta 2 all in the same month I'm not sure how I'm going to find time to play them al.

It was the deciding factor in me getting the Wii U. Right now I've got ZombiU (loving that so far), Super Mario 3D World (liking that so far) and TLoZ: The Windwaker HD to hold me until I get it.

Unfortunately I've only got enough money for one game for a little while. I either get the Master Chief collection in November, or get Bayonetta 2 in October. The one I don't buy I will just beg for Christmas until the family member submits.

Excuse me while I sit and have bad thoughts.
