What a lot of people including myself do is probably not appropriate to mention here, but generally i read a book until I feel tired enough to drift off.

Browse the interwebs on my PSP.

Or laptop.

Depends on how lazy I am at the particular moment.

As the toweled dog said, usually isn't a good idea to mention it here. This is supposed to be a civil forum.

Personally i also watch certain excerpts from movies that are quite soothing to me.

Beat one off, change into dressing gown, brush teeth, fold clothes, set alarm, undress, get into bed, worry/ think for 3 hours, sleep.

Not necessarily in that order :p

*Masturbation Joke*

Seriously though, I don't do anything before bed.

Maybe change into my pajamas (Sweat Pants) if that counts.

Usually, I take 10-15 minutes to set up for the next day. Make my lunch, check email, stuff like that.

I read, and if I have assignments to get done, I can work on them. It helps tire me out so I can go to bed and actually sleep. I need something to wind down. I have a hard time sleeping unless I wind the mind down. Books make me sleep better than any depressant.

Mess around on my laptop, get a glass of water, get into my jammies, draw, and read a book until I fall asleep.

Usually I either read, play my DS/PSP or watch tv. Even if I'm not paying attention to the tv it's usually on until I'm tired enough to fall asleep. Sometimes I'll also listen to music.

Generally read and/or study. If I have a new handheld game then I may instead play DS or PSP for a given amount of time (read: until eyelids droop beyond recovery).
