Oh please, like he has anything to fear from them. What are they going to do? Re-re-re-reboot Batman?

They only re-re-rebooted Spider-Man, and that last re was to put him into the MCU proper, AND despite some things I have issue with, was ultimately well-done.

But the DCEU is not the MCU, as much as it wants to be.

Eh. I can't even muster the fucks to give about this. I liked Batfleck, but again, eh. As much as I liked Wonder Woman, I feel the only reason it succeeded was because it has zero ties to the rest of the DCEU. After Justice League, I'm just going to be waiting for them to reboot. Or they could do the smart thing and have the mantles passed on. I would love to see Dick Grayson Batman, and I would go positively orgasmic for Wally West as Flash.

EDIT: Actually, never mind. I just remembered the DCEU's version of the West family is taking cues from the CW Flash. I hate black Wally. I find it so fucking stupid that he has an open cowl to show his non existent hair. But that's petty. What I really hate him for is that he is a shit character, both in the CW and in the comics, and that they had to ruin one of DC's best characters (albeit temporarily in the comics) in some misguided attempt at diversity is just salt in the wound.

I am just waiting for that Watchmen x DC crossover comicbook the concerns both Superman and Dr.Manhatten in September I think.

I can't imagine how stupid Warner Bros. would have to be to fire Affleck at this point. Everyone was incredibly fucking hyped about the prospect of a solo Batfleck film. If they re-re-reboot it and recast, all that enthusiasm will evaporate.

Him and wonderwoman are the only liked charecters at this point (although I do like the hillbilly aquaman).

Odd choice.

I'm given to understand that this isn't a case of DC/Warner wanting to dump Affleck, it's a case of Affleck wanting out.

Either for personal reasons or because he looked around and said, "What the hell am I doing?"

Well he said that he loves being Batman and is definitely going to stay in the role while he was at ComiCon. But then he also said that about him directing The Batman, so eh.
