Bernie Mac - Dead at 50

Bernie Mac, the actor and comedian who starred in films such as Ocean's Eleven and Transformers, died today in a Chicago hospital aged 50. The cause of death seems to be complications from pneumonia, connected to the lung disease he had suffered for many years.

I, for one, am saddened by the death of a fine comedian. The usual platitudes go out to all who knew and admired the man. Rest in peace.

I never really knew much about the guy's career, but a death like that is just...damn.
