Over the last few months, I attempted to keep the Escapists' Berserk fans informed on the progress of the new Berserk anime and accompanying theatrical release, which was met with an astounding amount of indifference (save a few people).
Before, there were a few snippits of animation around, but as of today, there is an official trailer,
Just as before, it's pretty short, but it does show the incredible animation quality, though I find some of the cgi parts somewhat distracting. However, the fact this is actually happening makes me all giddy.
To recap: the Berserk theatrical release will cover the Golden Age arc of the manga, which the original series did, and will be followed by a series of OVA's, covering the rest of the manga.
