Best bad horror movies.

Every once in a while I go on a horror movie binge. I have my all-time favorites that I always go back to, but sometimes I need my "so bad that it's good" fix. I usually head to IMDB and look for a list of bad ones and then I'll download some of the ones with a 1.5 or 2/10 rating. Sure, it's mostly just terrible, un-watchable stuff, but every now and then there's a diamond in the rough. I'm always looking for suggestions, so please let me know some of your favorites and why they're so bad/good.

My favorite bad horror movie is Frankenhooker (1990). It has a remote-controlled lawnmower accident, super crack, and exploding prostitutes. So bad. So good.

Ha! I love Frankenhooker.

I'm going to suggest Blood Dolls. It's not a bad one, it's not a good one, but it's ...so weird. It's definitely worth a watch. Mr. Mascaro is definitely creepy and awesome at the same time.

Prophecy: The Monster Movie. It has giant mutant bears, a decent understanding of how suspense should work and a mercury polluted environment. It's also Kevin Peter Hall's first film (the guy who played the Predator, Harry from Harry and the Hendersons, the Monster from Monster in the Closet, The Alien in Without Warning and the Gorvil from Mazes and Monsters). It doesn't have an explosive finale (in Grizzly, a man uses a BAZOOKA! on a bear) but it's still interesting.

Equinox. It's really bad. Really bad. It has a giant squid, a giant satanic gorilla, demonic possession, the Necronomicon, Ross Perot...
The plot is pure madness.

It's been years since I've seen "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes", but I'd consider it a 'must see' if you're into bad cinema.

Best worst horror movie ever goes to Troll 2. Hands down. My wife tried to watch it with me and couldn't sit through it. But I loved it because it was so bad. Killer Klowns From Outer Space is a close second as well.
