I suppose that my book ever was The Ambassador Chronicles by Graham McNeill and the Guardians of the forest by the same author was also very good

Now I didnt read all of page two of this thread but I remain hopeful that there has been little mention of Harry Potter.

On a positive note the Artemis Fowl series was probably my favourite series.

Hard to nail down the "Best" but William Gibson's Sprawl Trilogy was really good.

Composed of Neuromancer, Count Zero, and Mona Lisa Overdrive.

His Bridge Trilogy was also amazing.

Composed of Virtual Light, Idoru, and All Tomorrow's Parties.

He hasn't finished his latest trilogy yet. I'll get back to you on that one.

4. Moon of the Spider by Knaak
Diablo Series: The Sin War books by Richard A. Knaak

2. Scales of the Serpent
3. The Veiled Prophet
Mass Effect books:
1. Revelation by Drew Karpyshyn
Halo Series:
1. The Fall of Reach by Eric Nylund
2. The Flood by William C. Dietz
3. First Strike by Eric Nylund
4. Ghosts of Onyx by Eric Nylund
5. Contact Harvest by Joseph Staten
6. The Cole Protocol by Tobias S. Buckell
Alex Rider series, all by Anthony Horowitz
1. Stormbreaker - For the record, the movie version sucks.
2. Point Blank
3. Skeleton Key
4. Eagle Strike
5. Scorpia
6. Ark Angel
7. Snakehead (currently reading, at page 144)
Gears of War:
1. Aspho Fields by Karen Traviss
Warcraft Series: War of the Ancients
1. Book 1: The Well of Eternity by Richard A. Knaak
2. Book 2: The Demon Soul by Knaak - Haven't gotten to read this one yet
Starcraft:
1. Liberty's Crusade by Jeff Grubb
2. Starcraft Ghost: Nova by Keith R.A. DeCandido

Jeeze. Long list. I've also read Harry Potter, up until the latest 2 books (lost interest). Sorry for such a long post, but since none of these series (minus Harry Potter) were mentioned, I thought I would.

Kitchen Confidential is pretty much my bible, followed by House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski, and American Gods by Neil Gaiman was pretty killer too.

Only two book series I ever truly loved and considered brilliant.

The Animals of Farthing Wood, and The Deptford Mice/Histories.

I've become rather partial to the Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks, as well as The Deepgate Codex by Alan Campbell.

Twiligh... *breaks into uncontrollable laughter* ahh... it's funny because it's so ridiculous, but I'd have to say Thank You For Smoking, much different then the movie as far as the ending goes.
