Best Cocktail?

Ok Im off out tonight to a lardy-dar cocktail bar for drinks.

So what would you recomend? and whats in it?

Im not having Mojitos as Im waiting to go to Cuba next year for my first Mojito the way it should be

Get a killer punch:

1 part vodka, 1 part midori, 1 part amerreto(sp?) topped up with cranberry and a squeeze of lime.

They serve it in my local 'la-dee-dar....i mean rock cafe. Its delicious.

1 part coke. 1 part cherry syrup.

I gaurantee, it tastes better than any alcohol you might run into (though I don't think much of alcohol in general anyway so...)

All I know it was called the squashed frog.

It's a shot made up of:
-Green alcohol on the bottom (the frog)
-Red alcohol (the blood)
-Baylies on top (the rock)

It was my 18th so I have no idea what they were feeding me.

Yeap, that's the one, except mine had Baylies as the rock.

Rocky Top

Bourbon and a small splash of Grand Marnier on ice with water. Tastes like sweet tea.

If the Marnier is pinching the wallet too much, just replace it with a lemon and you get a pretty solid drink as well.

Why wouldnt it be?

I tend to favour my proper drinks like Newcastle Brown, or Bushies Beer, but its the missus bday at the weekend and she wants to go to the local wine/cocktail/wanker bar with her work friends.

Rocky top sounds pretty good.

Looking for either long drinks, Mojito ect or slow drinks Jaggermiester on the rocks ect.

But they serve no purpose, this will alow me to get drunk and provide me some one to blame if I get too drunk!

My own recipe for a Strawberry Vesper:

3 measures Absolut Vanilla
3/4 measure Lillet Blanc
3/4 measure Chambord
dash of grenadine for colour
dash of sugar for taste

1. shake liquor over ice
2. slice into strawberry, drag on rim of chilled martini glass
3. pour and enjoy!

Review:
The taste is sweet and rich in flavour, with the alcohol forming more of a backdrop than overwhelming the taste buds. A very smooth martini with a delicious finish.

Right after extensive testing last night I found it, the best Cocktail is the Lynchburg Lemonade.

1 1/2 shots Jack Daniels
1 Shot triple sec
bitters
lemonade
fresh lime juice

Bitter sour with a hint of booze.

Now where did I get a bouncy caslte from?

1 tall glass
3/4 ice
50 ml gin
25 ml orange liquor
fill it with schweppes
then add:
the juice from 1/4 orange
the juice from 1/2 lime
