Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War has a kick ass, blood-pumping trailer ("Reinforcements are on route" "Uh, yeah, totally not gonna wait for those!").

Dawn of War 2's opener wasn't bad either ("Strike from the skies, Brothers!").

Interestingly, the intro of Warhammer: Mark of Chaos (a significantly inferior game) is even better than those two ("To me, Sons of Sigmar! For the Empire!")!

I really liked Left 4 Deads intro, even though the video was sort of a "this is how to not do it" walkthrough, it was entertaining and gave me some more eager to play the game.

But I cant think of anyothr memorable one besides it.

I'm gonna go with Resident Evil Outbreak [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sb_buz-Gags]. The game sucked, but that intro is amazing.

empire earth is a sweet game; but in terms of intro movies, nothing pumps me up to play a game more than the Mechwarrior intro movies. my favorite 3 are from Mech 3, Mech 4 and Mechcommander

they're kinda campy, but they have okay production values and really have good atmosphere.
damn i just watched them all again. can't wait for mech 5.

Lost Odyssey, the starting fighting cinematic was pretty awesome.

Also, the music in Total Annihilation starting cinematic was also very good.

My personal favorite would be the intro to Street Fighter 4 because it actually shows what the game is actually about. Random people fighting each other.

Tell me that music doesn't get you pumped to kick some ass across World War 2.

I quite liked the Myst 4 intro. It's simple, but coupled with Jack Wall's epic score it really succeeds in immediately setting up the tone of the game.
