Best Game Soundtrack EVER!

What's your favorite game soundtrack? If you have more than one than feel free to list. What game soundtracks have you downloaded and listed to at sometime other than playing the game?

My personal favorites are:

1. Shatter (CD is in my car stereo right now)
2. Persona 3 (I listen to this one in the car too)
3. Heavy Rain


I know those are all original soundtracks but liscenced soundtracks are welcome as welll.


For instance, the GTA IV soundtrack is what got me into the black keys.

Divine Divinity 2.

I think I liked every song in that game and still listen to it. I don't even know which songs to post to show it off better but I settled on two. Honestly, Kirill Pokrovsky is a genius.

One of my personal favorite soundtracks comes from the game Odin Sphere which pretty much nobody heard about.

Also both No More Heroes have pretty good soundtracks.

GunZ The Duel.
The music flows well with the set pieces and the gameplay. There's like 8-9 soundtracks avalible. Anyone who has played GunZ WILL know what i'm talking about.

Homeworld has some very good music.
I'm also pretty happy about the cd that came with Starcraft 2.
And after hearing the BG2 soundtrack, i'm going to install and play that beast once again, exploring every bit of it.

Pretty much any Command & Conquer soundtrack up to and including Red Alert 3.

Dark Cloud 1 and Dark Cloud 2

Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 (and even a number of Sonic 1 songs)

Lots of the Final Fantasy games have good soundtracks too. Tactics, especially.

I personally think Red Dead Redemption had one of the best soundtracks I can remember. My only problem with it was the song that's played when you ride back to your Ranch to meet your family, just terrible.

Other than that it was stellar.

It is the best ambient electronic music I have ever listened to. Ever. I've listened to the CD cover to cover well over a hundred times now. The CD is about 2 and a half hours long. Do the math.
