OKAY OKAY GET THIS!!!
This might be my best idea ever so some of you might know the new spyro game has those figureines that you can use within the game BUT they are very similer to the stautes in Super Smash Brothers Brawl SO if they made the new Super Smash Brothers with that very same idea so that with every game you will get one of the many statues (Charecters) to use within the game!

If you think this is a good idea tell me or if you think it has problems let me know aswell, maybe this could end up being a plan for the future?

In a slightly more on topic note - Considering the fuss most people kicked up about the Spyro thing, I doubt it would take off. Having said that, I am often amazed at the things people would rather have than money.

Well, nobody liked the idea when they did it with Spyro(and let the heretics burn in psychic hellfire if they did like it), so I doubt it would work for SSB. Especially since SSB is a major player in the market (at least I think it was) and big companies charging extra cash so you can get all the content for a game that was a full 60$ is not going to please your fanbase.

I wouldn't mind having some of the figurines in the real world, but do I want them to be necessary to unlock features of the game? Hells to the no. Now, if I could buy a couple for like, $5.00 at the Nintendo store for shits and giggles, yeah I'd love to have Zelda, Shiek, Pikachu, Kirby and Daisy pallet Peach on my desk. Ooh, even better, Happy Meal Toys! Then I could get a friend of mine who works for Mikey D's to swipe some for me. Epic.

Since a couple people have said it, I will clarify - Smash Bros figures that are just for show, and aren't to add content - Totally OK with that, and I would like to have them. Paying extra for non-dlc content? Not so much!

A better idea install a spell check for your browser. This might be simply because I haven't played Spyro, but I can't even understand what you're trying to say here.

There's already a full character roster than can be unlocked by completing different challenges, there's assist trophies that will work the same way a Pokeball does. Adding a stupid feature wont make it better. I play Super Smash Bros because it's the best game I can play when me and my friends meet up (4 players, item madness, random occurrences mixed with skill) not because of the fun of unlocking everything.

I'm not the sort of guy that poo-poos DLC. I've bought almost every piece of Bioware DLC, after all.

BUT, the idea that I'd need to spend 5-6 bucks to unlock a single character in a fighting game is just downright stupid.
