Hey I'm trying to compile a list of the best movie moments of all time. A list of a few good moments that i could come up with were:

-Gladiator: When Maximus reveals himself to the emperor
-Aliens: "Get away from her you *****!"
-Count of Monte Cristo: Edmond confronts Fernand at the end
-One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest: When Chief Escapes
-Jurassic Park: When the T-rex rolls in and kills the raptors at the end
-Boondock Saints: Either the ending scene or when the dude accidentally kills the cat hahaha

This is just a small list. I need suggestions and imputs please.

Children of Men.
When Theo is taking Kee and her baby out of the war-torn building down the stairs. One of the marines storming the building comes up the staircase, hears the baby crying (in a movie where no one has been pregnant for 17 years) and just stops...then screams down to the people behind him "CEASE FIRE! CEASE FIRE!!!!" The marines, the rebels, the tanks, all stop firing.
Then, a few minutes of utter silence, wordlessly moving through a crowd captivated in awe by the newborn child.
I don't cry at much, but that scene definitely hit me. You need to have watched the whole movie to get it.

The Courtroom scene in Boondock Saints. It always moves me when I see that part.

The time travel jumps in Back to the Future. That car is just so awesome, and may have caused me to <a href=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/96328-Go-Back-to-the-Future-With-Awesome-Crysis-Mod>buy a game I have no interest in.

in FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS, the "intermission" narration, where Thompson talks about being in Vegas, looking west, and being able to see that high water mark, where the wave finally broke, and rolled back.

Think of the first time you saw it or heard of it -
the original PSYCHO, when people went to see it just because it was the new Hitchcock film, and it starts off as a heist film, Janet Leigh stealing her boss' money and making her getaway, driving to meet her lover, but having to pull over in the rain ... that's the first act of the film. Then she meets the innkeeper, and suddenly gets brutally murdered in the shower, quite probably the most shocking and best edited sequence in film, and the movie shifts gears in a way that M. Night Shmala-whatever has been trying (and failing) to recapture his entire career. Her death might just be the best movie moment.

Also, just about anything else Hitchcock did coming in as a close second.

How about Private Pyle blowing his brains out in FULL METAL JACKET?
Vader revealing himself as Luke's father?

damn, there's just too many.

The moment in "Schindlers List", right at the end when Oskar Schindler is about to flee his factory so as not to be captured by the Allies.

As he walks to his car, he pulls of his Nazi pin and begins to cry "I could have saved one more with this pin. I could have saved five with the car!".

That was the first time I've cried watching a movie. The whole movie was so moving, but its that scene that stands out for me.

Black Hawk Down
I love the whole move, but the best part has to be...when the line of Black Hawks & Little Birds are going into Mogadishu. IDK, the whole part just burns with tension and just looks so damn cool.
