So, I started to do some work-out at my home and I decided to create a CD to put so I have something to "motivates" me to keep going.

I already created one CD with like 50 songs, but after 10 times I get bored with these...

For that reason I decided to ask also here if you have to suggest me at least 40 songs to put together in a single CD.

I don't care what kind of music are. My first CD have literally nearly everything you can think:
Metal, Rock, Videogames OSTs, Anime OSTs, Greek music, Pop etc.
Of course I need songs that give you a solid quick rhythm so make me want to work out more.

Some examples are these songs:

[Yep, Just happened to remember Videogames Osts I hear.]

Thank you for your help!!!

Pretty much everything by sabaton. They're a swedish power metal band that sings only about war and have a ton of good energetic songs.

here are some.

here's some other assorted songs.

also, check out the trigun, cowboy bebop, and neon genesis evangelion soundtracks. they've got good stuff.

also, this person has a ton of cool videogame music

Ok, here are a few of my motivational songs for when I work out (mostly metal):

And for running, there's nothing like a bit of Pendulum's In Silico album, really chilled and repetitive, and it gets a good rhythm going.

Personally I've found that I only need about 15-20 songs while working out. I have two sets and flip them out when I'm tired of one, but they're both full of songs I know very well. Since I know the songs so well (to the point I can sing most of them) I find that I slip into "the zone" easier and just intuitively follow the beats. I can pay more attention to my form and how my muscles and joints are responding so I don't overload or injure them.

"Mari-Mac" by Great Big Sea to tickle your funny bone.

"More" by Usher when you're starting to lose concentration.

"Let it Rock" by Kevin Rudolf ft. Lil Wayne to feel badass.

"Why Does the Sun Shine" by They Might Be Giants for a reprieve.

"Break Me" by The Irresponsibles for a more Indy flavor.

"Cotton Eye Joe" by Rednex if you ever wanted to hear the Dutch try to imitate the Deep South.

"Brave" by Kelis because she's a powerhouse.

For me Metal goes well with Training
Mainly Glam and Power Metal
Bands like: HardcoreSuperstar, Crashdiet, Mötley Crue, Hammerfall, Stratovarius, Sabaton etc are all great for training.
I also like any HardRock or Metal so I have stuff like: Iron Maiden, WASP, KISS, Pretty Maids, ACDC, Metallica, Bonfire, Dynazty etc. Basically something fast that gets my blood pump!

I listen to Metal. Lots and lots of metal, ranging from stuff like Amon Amarth to stuff like Night Wish or Machinae Supremacy. There are few Power Metal bands that I like but my favorite goes to a band called Dream Evil.

THE FUCK DID I JUST LISTEN TO
What do you mean? DO you like it or do you find it weird?
This song is from the anime series "Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt".

Also, I want to thanks all of you that contribute in this thread of mine ^^
I find it extremely disturbing. I assume it hails from the cursed isle of Japan? Of course it does.

Well, at least theres no fucking octopus rape going on, I suppose that makes it more normal than most things from there.

Seriously though, I find it more confusing than anything else.
.......You don't want to know....
If you decide to watch the anime, please be prepared to accept a huge amount of mindf*ck.
Also about the Octopus thing....

I will just leave this photo here.

I find I need to listen to heavy music when I work out, preferably something with a strong beat, like Slipknot.
That said, most of the time I work out it's more to do with being really pissed off than for the actual exercise, so it makes sense that I'd be listening to metal.

If I'm really going for it though, nothing beats Trash Talk.
The only problem is the song lengths really, I have the Awake EP and the Eyes & Nines album, and the total length of both of them together is 26 minutes.

Pretty much all of the music I listen is good for working out.

These are picked kinda randomly so they're not necessarily the best songs to represent either of the bands.
