PC if you have the hardware to make it worthwhile. I got it and am enjoying the hell out of it.

Also... it looks AWESOME... DX11 support + tesselation = very high polish

If your PC can run it properly, then I'd definitely recommend going with that. Apart from the fact that the graphics will inevitably be better, there's always the possibility of mods to extend the experience (and judging by the amount of mods for the original Deus Ex, I'd say chances are good there will be some for Human Revolution).

I only wish my PC could run games like that...

As many people will tell you ... PC if you have a year-old or an up-to-date PC.

Personally i have a three years old PC that can run it but on low-to-mid settings ... and i got used to playing multi-platform games on my PS3 (trophies and other reasons) .. so i'll probably be getting it for the PS3 (and i saw it being played in many previews .. it looks damn fine) .. it's up to your personal preferences and how new is your PC.

Hah, I'll also throw my hat in with the PC version. The controls are wonderfully tailored and it has all the graphical gravy that PC users know and love. That is, of course, if you can run it at full settings. But, even on lower settings, it's a refined experience on the PC.

Gotta keep the PC train rolling. With the proper hardware you've got an extremely good looking game that runs insanely smooth on your hands.

If your PC can run it, get it for PC. Otherwise, you'd probably want to go for PS3 since I've read in a few reviews that the 360 version has framerate issues.

Honestly. Are you trolling, or just unable to see how this thread is going to play out?

I can't tell if you are trolling, or if you just can't deduce how this thread is going to play out. Let me give you a hint, hundreds of bitching fanboys argueing on throughout eternity.

Meh. I got the PS3 version, and I still think that the PC would be better. Just because having the mouse would have saved my life so many times...also would have made it much easier to search rooms quickly.

Well obviously the pc will do it slightly better if you have a good enough rig and can handle using a keyboard to play games. I don't and can't, so PS3 for me.

I doubt it. I can't remotely afford an up to date gaming rig on a student's budget but even I'm willing to admit a PC will do it better. That isn't really a point of discussion unless you're willfully ignorant. The only question is can you get past the huge cost of PC gaming and the annoyance of having to use a keyboard (not a problem for many, but it really bugs me).

PC if you have one that can run it.

I would like to see someones opinion on the 360 vs PS3 though, I'm not sure which platform to get it on. I'm leaning more to 360 due to the controller, but if there is any significant slowdown or anything like that it's PS3.

Funny thing is, everybody in this thread is extremely civil and hasn't incited anything. Until your post that is. You say don't feed the troll and turn around and be the only person doing it. You haven't voiced your opinion on what the thread is actually about, just went after the person who started it.

Well look at that. Double standards. First you guys say how there is no 'best platform', but when asked a question like this one, which is basically PC vs consoles in disguise, you're quick to forget about that argument.

Of course you should get it on PC. Graphics are better, controls are better because you can use a controller if you don't like keyboard and mouse, and AI is smarter because you can react quicker with a mouse and keyboard so they had to make AI better. Also UI is a lot better and more intuitive.

Of course, only if you have a PC capable of running it on some respectable settings. If not, then just get it on a console.

Reverse Troll is unsuccessful

Honestly, PC. I've played both versions and the graphics quality on PC blows the consoles out of the water..... IF..... you have the hardware. The possibility for mods etc is also a swing factor to vote PC. If you have dated or no hardware to run this thing in all it's glory get it on console. Whatever you do... DON'T MISS THIS GAME.

Slightly Better is a huge huge understatement with this game. I'd give you slightly better with games from earlier this year or before, but this one has really brought about a noticeable difference. Again, only if you have the hardware to get the full effect. Keyboard and Mouse vs. controller is a non issue now for PC seeing as most games for PC (including this one) will map to the xbox 360 wireless controller flawlessly.
