Best soundtrack of 2011

I think it´s quite self explanatory. What was the best soundtrack in a game of 2011? And what made it so special to you.

VVVVV, just an amazing bit of music. I don't usually listen to soundtrack outside of a game but this was the pleasant exception for me.

bit trip runner, mainly because it had the best 8bit music i have EVER heard.

That's easy for me: Catherine. It wasn't a totally original soundtrack since it used a number of classical pieces, but it was memorable.

In second: Skyward Sword. The main theme is fantastic.

In third: Rayman Origins.

Frozen Synapse has one of the best game soundtracks I've ever heard. Ever.

Deus Ex Human Revolution had ambient music down to a t.



I love music like this, the synth in that game was brilliant.

Skyrim had a damn good soundtrack too though. I'm not usually one for "epic" scores but I can't get bored of that main theme.

EDIT: Oh, how could I forget Portal 2?!

Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It nails perfectly the atmosphere of the game and even constantly reminds me of the game's gold'n'black colour scheme. I don't know how Michael McCann pulled it off but holy balls, it works so flawlessly.

Also borrows slightly from the original game, just enough to send shivers down your spine while still sounding fresh.
