Best videogame monster?

OK, so me and my bro are wondering whos the best videogame villian/monster? Now there are some guidelines, they have to be one-of-a-kind, no zombies or poision head crabs. I.E. Freddy Kruger or Jason, eventhough they werent in videogames. And they have to be scary, just terrifing. By villian I mean killer, not an Illusive Man or Bioshock guy type, like a pyschotic killer. Last of all I dont care how hard they were to beat, if they were an NES monster that took you a year to defeat, they dont count. And dont say Pigsy or Pyrmid Head, everyone has.

P.S. They have to be man sized, like they cant be over 7.5 feet, sorry for not mentioning this earlier.

Iron Maiden from RE4. Covered in hundreds of vibrating spikes they impale you with if you get too close. Just nasty.

Otherwise, perhaps King Bohan from Heavenly Sword. He was a homicidal maniac that didn't even care about his own subordinates or his son. He pretty much destroyed a village to get a sword that he didn't even want to use. Just have.

Ocelot from the Metal Gear Solid series was pretty good. He thought nothing of killing people and always did it with a little style. He was basically the main villain throughout the series when you think about it. Even if his motives were less than evil.

No it doesn't, the only "monsters" you hunt in that game are the harmless Popos. Other than that, it's pretty much the monsters hunting you and your friends (at least that was the majority of my experience with the game).

Anyway, worse than Rathalos, the Tigrex and any other monster in that game, was...

Nothing like being repeatedly belly-flopped on by a giant pink ape (pretty much killing you instantly). Then, if by some divine chance you manage to avoid being belly-flopped on, it farts on you, which for some reason stops you from being able to use items. Then it mauls you to death, or starts belly-flopping again. Not a fun guy to fight with.

Agreed. Though Tower Knight loses some of his bite after you beat him the first time.

yeah but loses major points for being so easy to beat. Valtiel from SH3 comes to mind. Also the final boss of Deadly Premonition deserves some recognition.

It regains the points back by giving one of the most gruesome deaths.....ever.

Ok, some of these dont match the criteria, like the giant penis monster, or the Hive Mind, angain its difficulty dont affect the creature or killer at all. Think about if they were in a fighting game together, with no evidence they were in a previous game, who would win? And lets try to see some more physcotic killers.

Not to mention the things you have to fight in the Monster Hunter games. (Or so I've been told. For some reason I can beat a giant dragon that looks like it eats elephants like beef jerkey, yet I can't scratch a prancing white pony [Kirin, you de-masculating bastard])

@lunncal: Yeah. That guy made me quit Freedom Unite my first time playing. He gets REALLY easy later on though. Only attack when he does his thrashing attacks, or does his belly flop. Stay at a distance and roll when he charges otherwise. Tigrex makes him look like a popo though.

Monster Hunter aside: The Boss from MGS3. Not a 'Monster' as save for zombies and aliens (that aren't 'original') there are few human sized, series specific monsters that I can think of.... But she is THE Boss. The 7 foot tall bad ass Russian general that can shoot FUCKING LIGHTNING out of his HANDS can't beat her.
