Best WWII game?

My favorite game that took place during the European campaign had to have been Medal of Honor: Frontline. The First Call of Duty however, is a VERY close second. I just Love those Russian missions.
During the Japanese campaign I believe that would be Call of duty World at war. Just because it really was the closest game in my opinion on displaying the gruesome warfare in that campaing. That Medal of Honor game set in that campaign (I forget what it was called) was alright too I guess.

My Favourite WW2 games are Company of Heroes and Call of Duty 2.
With the original Call of Duty coming in shortly after COD2.
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault was also a fun time, but not top 3.
World at War was, for me, totally boring. I couldn't stand it.

Company of Heros is my favorite WWII game. But its not an FPS, so it doesn't fit the bill.
I think the only WW2 FPS I've played was MoH: Rising Sun. It was mediocre. So....not that one.

Medal of Honor: Frontline. Great first level of storming Normandy beach. And I can't talk about this game without mentioning Michael Giacchino's soundtrack, one of the best video game soundtracks of all time.
well for nostalgia value as it was my first ww2 game i would say medal of honour frontlines. i just have fond memories of getting it with my ps2 at christmas and playing it far too much. maybe call of duty 3 though, i don't know why, i know loads of people hate cod3 but i loved it
Original Wolfenstein games XD but yeah, the first call of duty is probably my favorite. loved the series since then.
World at War is pretty solid, as far as shooters go.
The Close Combat games are not only the best WWII RTS games, but some of the best strategy games, period.
Then of course there's the IL-2/Pacific Fighters series for flight sim fans, The Saboteur for some open-world fun, Hearts of Iron from grand strategy...
