BF3 Alpha Trial

I looked around and didn't see a topic specifically for people who have played the Alpha, so here you are.

I don't have the space cash to but both MW3 and BF3 (but I want one), so when I saw the invite in my inbox, I happily clicked on the link and got started. It took a while installing everything I needed, but eventually I clicked play...and got directed to a website that suspiciously looks like it wants to be Facebook.

Once I got into a game, I had lots of lag, not to mention the expected glitches. Of course, I had expected both glitches and lag. However, when 10 seconds goes by after the "someone has killed you" message comes up and I'm still moving around...something isn't right.

I really like the battlefield series (I played BF2 non-stop back in the day...) but this look at the game isn't very promising. Its very pretty, but too much for my computer. Maybe for my xbox...

A) It's in Alpha so there are no customization options to run the game at lower quality (Same problem I have)

B) the reason you haven't seen a topic about it already is that when you sign up to take part, you're agreeing to a NDA

But aside from that I know what you mean, I'm in it, but my machine (which runs every other game I own without issue) just won't run the beast without severe lag.
