mine is in fable 2 when you open the fifty key chest (the hardest chest to open in the game) and it only has $50,000 in it, when by that time you already have over 10 million dollars and you make about $50,000 every half hour.

Yes, i see that, but you have to think that the Final Boss would atleast have to be good. or atleast a challenge since that is what most gamers only strive to do, just beat the Boss and leave.
I thught of another one.
Too Human, by the end of that game i was really into it and was enjoying myself, then it ended, no boss, no anything, just a small cutscene and suprise, you need to pay another $100 next time we make this game... if we make this game...
Not sure if its anti-climactic but it sure was a punch to balls.

you mean the final boss that Reaver kills for you?
My biggest gaming disappointment would have to be Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2. Remember the first one? The bosses were almost all high profile bad guys like Dr. Doom, Galactus, Bullseye and, Mysterio to name just a few. UA2 allowed you to fight some heros yes but, the only other big name enemies were Goblin, Venom and, Lady Deathstrike.
Another thing: Remember how in Ultimate Alliance each character has at least 3 costumes? Each of their costumes grant them some sort of bonus to their powers or attributes. In the second, most characters only have one alternate costume. Of these, I only came across two or three which were actually ... good. I mean; many people know The Hulk was originally grey and yet, the unlockable costume for him is ... red skinned? He looked like an Oni.
The final slap to my face is this: The gameplay looked great but, it was different than the first game. The camera was harder to control and, everybody seemed severely underpowered. This was on the PS3 version. My little brother got the PS2 version for his birthday and I was disappointed to find that, on the PS2, Ultimate Alliance 2 played exactly like the first. Furthermore: on the PS2 Blade, Psylock and, [I think] Cyclops came standard. I remember getting Ultimate Alliance for the 360 and teasing my brother because I was able to play with Moon Knight and Colossus >.<
One final gripe and this is all me: Thor must be unlocked. This isn't the problem I had though. Once I unlocked my Asgardian God of Thunder and Ass-kickery, I found that he was at least stronger than most of the other heros. However, from his first quip I hated him. I hate the voice actor who played Thor. The voice acting in that game was below average in general but Thor was my favorite character. Deadpool got to keep his VA from the first, why not Thor!?
Have you played any JRPG's by chance? they seem to have actul bosses in them.
So, Final Fantasy 7 had one.
And i tohught of one more,
After you kill Jecht for the secomd time, you expect a massive battle with yunalescence(Whatever), then it doesnt even attack, just heals itself, so easy, so bad.
In fact, most of the boss battles. The only two that spring to mind where it wasn't just 'beat up their minions until the boss shows and you punch them as well' was Killer Croc and Poison Ivy. And Killer Croc was just plain dissapointing.
