Gaming: Jaws Unleashed. That was a lot of money to spend on an extremely short game with no replay value and the only thing you could do after completing the story was kill people. Which surprisingly got really boring, really fast.

Real Life: When I realized that most of the guys in my area are complete idiots who think that getting high, drinking to the point of drowning their livers, and spreading STDs on the weekends is something to be proud of.
