It seems to me that there are a lot of games that are attempting (and often failing) to make a good game similar to a popular game. Some games may seem similar, but those may not be clones, just cases where they used the same engine and one used it better, and those are not what I'm asking about, I'm talking about games that are pretty much a blatant attempt to take all the elements of a good game and make it their own. One game I saw very recently was Runes of Magic, a free to play game, and this was pretty much exactly like World of Warcraft, the models, the UI, and some of the creatures, it was incredible how much it looked like WoW. I'm not complaining about them, it's just interesting to see how people will copy paste a game just so theirs might be a little popular.
