Simply put, what game do you feel had the biggest, most surprising plot twist or plot revelation? For me, that would have to be KOTOR. For those of you that played the game, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Let's hear some of yours!

KOTOR was pretty brilliant, yes, but i'm going with Jade Empire. that whole game was a lineup of masterfully thought up, redicolously well laid out gambits. if you played it, you know exactly what i'm refering to. if not, then go and do it! now! i'm friggin serious!

i'm gonna go against popular opinion and say SO3. i honestly loved it, and don't see why everyone hated it so much.
Oh I know exactly what you're talking about, and when it happened, I was in shock. I just recently got the game again off of amazon, and I totally forgot about that twist, so when it happened, I was like O_OKathinka said:

Oh! I'm not sure if this counts, but I like how in Halo the Sangheili find out about the Prophet's lies. That had to be a twist for them.
Arcanum deserves a mention. Wait, the bad guy isn't the bad guy, and he wants to help me kill the real bad guy? WAIT the real bad guy is just doing what he is doing because he want to help everyone??

OT: I enjoyed Tales of Symphonia's plot twist, the main one at least there were a few small ones. I also have to agree with the rest of this thread and say KOTOR and Bioshock because they were amazing.
