I wonder how this will affect their bottom line. According to some of the comments, a lot of people have been deleting their accounts, but in retaliation Blizzard has removed the ability to do so.

Yeesh.

If I recall correctly, the account deletion removal was just a massive influx of people doing the same thing and the system freaked out, and the deletion via personal ID method was the least used option and thus was usable. I could be wrong though, but I have heard this from a few people.

Sucks for Blizzard though, how will they ever cope? /s

Blizzard gets a lot of its money from China. This probably will just be a blip

Once the Free Speech virtue signalers give up, everyone will flock back to Blizzard

Yep, this is almost certainly an inconvenience and nothing more. How many companies did something bad in the last 5-10 years that people stopped caring about but claimed was big at the time?

I think the attempt to turn one or more of Blizzard's characters into the next Winnie the Pooh is far more likely to hit them where it hurts

Edit:I can't decide whether I love or hate the fact that I live in a reality where the above sentence makes any sort of sense
