I'm actually interested to see how this plays out. The first one was (for me) an uninspiring grindathon slightly redeemed by some surprisingly good writing. If Gearbox can manage to liven things up a little, so much the better.

Woooo! I loved the first one enough to beat a second playthrough through all the DLC as well so this is going to be great. I hope they bring back Claptrap and make a better ending. Oh and make the driving more fun. Thank you Gearbox, keep it up!

Although the first one was a massive grind, the weapon lottery and co-op play really made a great game. Looking forward to this on the whole

I loved everything about the first one (don't know what you mean about it grinding) and am so looking forward to this one.

First one was a riot, and hopefully they learned from it too.

I love Borderlands and I'm really glad to hear this, but I am slightly dissapointed it's still set on Pandora. Pandora was a really boring planet, so they best come up with some decent locations this time. Also decent vs multiplayer would be nice. Everything else can remain the same, just so long as it's improved and offers more variety, like deeper customisation for character looks and vehicles.

I was just playing Borderlands yesterday, and I said to my roommate, "You know, it would be really awesome if they made a sequel," and he said back, "After Duke Nukem Forever? They're not gonna be making anything for a long time." All of a sudden, this happens! We we we so excited!

About time. One of my favorite recent generation games getting a sequel...

good co-op games are hard to come by these days.

All I have to say is that they'd better fix the weapon system. I got really sick of picking up the same shotgun a thousand times just with a different paintjob and stats. Better give us more variety in the weapon models.

Awesome. Borderlands was so addictive. Finding that perfect weapon was all I wanted in life at the time. Let's hope it stays cell-shaded. I loved that.

Ahh well.

I just hope they introduce different vehicles. The buggies got boring after a while. Also, looks like dual wielding is gonna be in it =D

There are a lot of threads in this forum, and I guess I must have skipped it as I don't think I saw anything until this thread at page 5 in the gaming discussion forum.

So do I. Knoxx provided more vehicles, but the only one really worth using was the Racer, which should have been included in the whole game. I want my lightning fast car. In any case, more vehicle variety is actually something lower on my wants list than a lot of things. I'd like things like a lot more unique weapons, more hidden stuff, easter eggs. More importantly, stuff like keeping the it's art style the same and actually having a story, not a non-story.
