Borderlands 2 Gamplay Leak.

Ehh, more Boredomlands. I got bored of the first one quite quickly and this looks nearly the same. I'm interested to see how open and varied the world is in this one, there was nothing interesting at all in the first. I'd also like to see a deathmatch game mode implemented outside of co-op, although the siren person would be overpowered as fuck.

I played the original for about a night with my friend, never got back into it because I didn't actually own it. All I want to know is why the main character is a giant bearded guy instead of the choice of 4 you had in the first one.

They really stepped up on the gun variation.

Sweet, that actually looks a lot more entertaining than the first Borderlands was for me. I liked the idea, but it was hampered by plain bad game mechanics; shooting that didn't feel very satisfying for me, horrible AI, repetitive...everything, all for the sake of loot that wasn't even any good 90% of the time and an online mode, at least on the PC, that was just plain horrible. I really don't understand the game's praise.

This though seems to fix a lot of the things I had issues with.

Ooooh, that looks fun. I had a blast with the first one. I was very fond of collecting legendary weapons and their different abilities. My friend and I were pretty obsessed with co op leveling.

Thats just the first character they've revealed with Maya the new "Siren" class being revealed in this video, there will still be 4 classes.

Yeah, I feel the same way. It looks damn beautiful now. While the gameplay still isn't my thing, I have to give props where they are due. I loved the jab at the previous game's visual design: "Our artists did a lot of research. They found out that there's actually some other colors in the palette".
