Guys. Today is a sad day. I knew Borders went bankrupt ages ago, but I always thought there would be investors or someone to bail them out of it.
Apparently not.
I know there are other bookstores like Barnes and Nobles and (I suppose) Virgin, but Borders was a part of my childhood and it's sad to see it go :/
Plus, I feel bad for all the employees that are going to get laid off.
Is there Borders near you that's closing?

Out of all the bookstores that I go to, Borders was my favorite. When I was younger,I would visit the states and the top 3 places I would want to go to is Walmart, Gamestop and of course, Borders. (All of them don't exist outside the US >.>) I could spent ages in the large stores roaming from aisle to aisle, grabbing book after book to read. It's where I gained a whole new appreciation for books. The Borders Group, the bankrupt 40-year-old bookseller, said on Monday that it will move to liquidate after no last-minute savior emerged for the company.
