BRAND NEW Assassin's Creed II Gameplay Footage

Inspired by KingTeabag's recent spate of these, I decided to show something that some people may not have seen yet. It includes one shot with the hidden gun and some other tricks you can do.
I am OCD for this game. How do the Escapists feel about it?

The game looks like a great improvement over the first!
....but then again...trailers are ALWAYS like that...

I hope they are fixing the story too. It was easy to tell where the whole thing was going after your second assassination...and Al-mualim just kept talking in a longwinded, matrix-movie fashion to make excuses...

My favorite part of this clip. [0:38]("So the harrassers, the beggers who come to you and say I WANT MONEY...well this time you have a tool to...ugh....shut them up..." and then he quickly tries to move it along )

Am.. I the only one that liked Assassin's Creed's combat system? I rather liked the realistic speed-kill system, as it ment I could kill off guards realistically and at the same time kept the game from turning into action with bits of stealth mixed in.

A horde of people surrounding someone, then attacking 1 on 1 is as realistic as it gets

Okay, so that element's a bit retarded, but I was leaning twards the combat system. While one may make a convincing arguement that that is part of it, it wasn't the part I was going twards. I enjoyed the system, but can accept that it had flaws.

Well there was times when one random dude decided to hit you on the back while the other charges from the front.

But yea... the combat was just.... blarggg...
What I found was the throwing knifes a bit overpowered, it can kill not matter what distance as long as it hits.

I may get it. I'm mostly caring about MW2, just because all my friends are getting it, and I wanna actually be able to play online with them.

Actually, sometimes they did all bumrush me in the first one. Most of the time, they ended up hitting each other and rebounding off my sword. It was even more fun when there were archers involved. Those silly archers killed more of their guys than I did.
