I've known about this for a few weeks, but I realized that nobody here had posted about it, so I might as well share it with you. It's looking really good so far, although it's still a ways off from completion, and it'll be awesome to see two hobbyist programmers do something that Nintendo really should have allowed in the first place. They have made loads of progress, with the ability for each player to be in totally separate places on the map without any issue, although the camera is quite wonky and certain things like spinning don't work properly for each player yet. I think they really know what they're doing and will finally put Nintendo's crappy attempts at Mario Galaxy co-op to shame.

These two brothers are also behind CTGP [http://wiki.tockdom.com/w/index.php?title=CTGP_Revolution], a custom track distribution for Mario Kart Wii that currently includes 128 custom tracks and allows all tracks to be played via Wi-Fi with other people who have the mod.

Wow!

This looks absolutely awesome! Thanks for pointing this out, I'm going to share this with my gaming buddies and keep track of how this develops. The original SMG2 co-op was a token insertion that was atrocious and bland. This is exactly the kind of co-op Ninty should put in the next 3D Mario game.

Also, I can't believe I've never found the CTGP either, those tracks look like an awesome way to reinvigorate MKW, besides from texture packs like Mario Kart Wii:Black.
