Hi ,
I'm 20 years old and currently attending a networking and telecommunications software college, I make around 400 euros a month on 20 hours a week job making someone rich by installing wi-fi routers all over town. I need all kinds of business advices from you , something that fits in a 10-20 thousand euros investment. Why do i think that you are perfect for this task ? Easy! I live in eastern Europe in a country that has forgotten how to have real fun, and new stuff get here pretty late.

For example local businesses include :

Hotels/Motels
Strip Clubs
Night Clubs
Casinos
Sport Betting
Ethnobotanical(Weed for kids) plants shop
Pool bars
Go-kart tracks
Paint ball

In this order , they fill my city's streets and trust me people got really bored of them , although they still waste money there.

What I'm looking for is something that, near your area (western Europe , Asia , America's), is lame now but at a point in time it was a blast and got popular real fast. Or if you know an old good business gimmick that got improved in your area and now it's booming again. (If you find a way to make 200 euros a day from a kissing booth I'll do it).

At the moment a friend approached me with a 4D/5D cinema idea, witch sounds really plausible.

Appreciating any reply! Thx!

Well, you could start advertising a 'debt cutting solution' in a newspaper or something saying 'cuts credit debt in half' charge them a bundle and then mail them a cheap pair of scissors?

Or offer a 'solar powered clothes dryer' for even more and send them a length of wire and some pegs?

Well people here tend to do that from time to time but they end up getting caught by local authorities , i thought of trying to do something not so legal mainly because I'm around 20km away from the Schengen territory border but I have no connections and really love my clean police record.

Anyway a few weeks ago someone opened a Retro Bar in town , witch is kinda looking good especially for people who are into that kind of theme. The place is huge , you can even sit in an old car in it witch has a table inside, and every time I passed it late around midnight it's full with customers.

My latest ideas include a Dry cleaners , or founding a Bee keepers association in witch case I will buy honey products from them and try to export it in a western country. Lately I'm thinking of getting another job this summer so I can increase my credit range.

Sorry for being so serious, but I'm tired of seeing people selling watermelons in the morning and in the evening driving their fancy cars like they know shit.

That restaurant thing where people eat their food in the dark because it's supposed to "brighten the taste" or something... I suspect people go there because nobody will know who grabbed what.
Anyway, that sounds like a legit business solution, right?

Well, this may not exactly be "fun," but if you're not afraid to work you could get into carpet cleaning. 10-20k Euros would likely get you a decent used van and machine and chemical to get started. 200 Euros a day isn't unrealistic. However, the only caveat i would add here is that i'm not sure what the market is like in your country for carpet. I know that several European countries went through a phase where they falsely attributed carpets to higher occurrence of respiratory problems and so currently have mostly hard floors.

(I used to clean carpets myself, and now i sell carpet cleaning supplies and equipment. "If all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.")

Never heard of it, but Candlepin Bowling is big in the Northeastern United States. It was a lot of fun, but I have never seen it outside of when I lived in Maine...

@Razada Internet Cafe

Very good idea, but sadly around 8-9 years ago someone had the same thought as you and since then the town is full with internet cafes, some of them even went bankrupt. The thing is that here the first thing a kid wants for his birthday after he learns to read and write is a high end PC, it doesn't matter if his parents will work 2 years to pay for it, they will buy him a PC.
The only remaining way an internet cafe makes a profit is on kids who skip school.

@artanis_neravar 4D Cinema

4/5/6/7D I don't even know the difference between them. The idea is that you watch a 3D movie and they play with your mind. The chair moves, they hit you over your ankles with something also from the chair, they sometime spray water on your face there is also a smell factor involved and some flashes. All of these toghether create an incredible experience.

@the spud Bowling/Natural Drinks

There is already a bowling ally in town , and it ain't doing that great. People avoid things where they lack skill.

I tought of making some fresh fruit juice stands arround the local malls but the salary of the employee makes my income to low.

@Quaxar Themed restaurant

Themed restaurants are a very good idea , but people get really bored fast , so you would have to come up with something new to often, plus you would need a supplier and the costs of all of it ...

Last time i checked all the good spots for restaurants in town were held by local politicians and shady businessmen so the rent is kinda high and sometimes just because they don't like your face it's enough for them do avoid business with you.

@Jamboxdotcom Dry cleaners
I'm looking forward to this, but with everything, carpets, clothes, suits, it's better I cover everything. People here wash their carpets once a year, and when they do they usually go out in a field and do it themselves with a water bucket and soap. I'm surrounded by savages.

The good news is that half of the city works in factories witch have lab coats or uniforms. If I manage to get a company to send me their stuff to clean I could hit the jackpot.

Sorry for the late reply but today I found out something that may change everything for the next years, i wasn't expecting it but it may be a change for the better.

Looking forward for more ideas.
