Hello fellow Escapists, I'm here again with another question that I can't seem to answer for myself. And so again, I reach out to you for your wonderful opinions.
NOTE: Skip the giant second paragraph if you don't care about tech specs. Also, I'm afraid I'm going to bed right after posting this so I won't be able to answer any questions you have until tomorrow. Watch for the "Quoted" notification
I have an Acer Extensa 5620-6830 notebook that is three years old, and of course I've loved it all this time, playing games like World of Warcraft and League of Legends on it. But of course, I'm looking for an upgrade now to run my already cherished games at higher speeds with some prettier graphics and probably branch out and play other games like Starcraft II and Torchlight that at best, my computer has serious problems running and there's no point in even trying.
Here are two notebooks that I have been considering purchasing:

If you're feeling extraordinarily lazy I'll say that the first one is an open box Lenovo with an Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4500 2.3GHz processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 250GB HDD, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500 GPU, and a 15.6" screen.
The second one is a refurbished (let me touch on this. I'm not really concerned about the quality as there would be something in the reviews if people were having problems with quality) Gateway with an AMD Athlon II P320 Dual-core 2.1GHz processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 320GB HDD, ATI Radeon HD 4250 GPU, and a 17.3" screen.
The Gateway is $50 more and it has a slightly larger screen and it has a not-god-awful chipset instead of freaking Intel GMA.
So after this massive wall of text, I'll actually get to the freaking question. Oh also I want to pick up DOTA II when it comes out, but of course right now we don't know what kind of specs that's going to take.
So for my not-super-intense gaming needs, is the Gateway enough? It seems to me from the benchmarks that I've read that there isn't that much point in buying the Lenovo because my old laptop has Intel GMA. I don't have the money to buy a laptop with graphics power to take on super graphical-intensive games like Call of Duty but hey, that's what my xbox is for.
Thank you so much for sticking with my helplessness through this massive post, and any and all input on this will be appreciated.
