Okay I was wondering which unit should I get and what good games there are for the 360..... I have 600$ to work with and I need to save enough to go see Zombieland on the second.... So keeping that in mind which Xbox 360 Consoles and games should I get..... Plus How much is Xbox live and can I use a cable hookup instead of wireless to run live? The games I plan on getting are COD4, Left 4 Dead, and Dead Rising (maybe) I was wondering if tehre are any good RPG's for the 360.... Maybe something of an MMO type?

Well the "newest" System I have is a PS2 and I like Phantasy Star,Dragonquest,Persona 3..... Games like that ohh and .Hack
The best RPG's you can probably get are Mass Effect (for cheap, now), and its sequel in a few short months. However, it isn't for everyone. I know a lot of people who get bored with it.
Borderlands is an upcoming FPS that mixes RPG and MMO elements, it looks promising.
I found Oblivion to be boring, same with Fallout 3, however if you are into that style of gaming Fallout 3 will give you many hours of gaming, with plenty of bonus campaigns to download (for a small price).
Live is like $50 for a year (plus a "bonus month") I think? You can use an ethernet cable for your Xbox, much better since the bloody wireless device is $99.

I think now is a good time to buy the Elite with the recent price drop. It costs $299 right now, and won't be bundled with any games, but that should be enough to buy you a good handful of games. Call of Duty 4, and Left 4 Dead are going to be a little expensive, but Dead Rising will be cheap.Inosuke_Teh_PWNZER said:

It is more expensive to get the Elite than the Arcade, but you'll need that hard drive... I only have a 20 gig one, and it gets full pretty fast. You could just get a PS3 with the money you got, though.
Also to the above guy, the Xbox comes with a half-decent headset. It's wired, but it will last you long enough till you feel like you need something better.
