I recently found one of my dad's Beatles CD, and played some Call of duty while it was playing.

I have no idea why but it just mixed so well.
They offset each other but it worked

Anyone else had this happen?
If so list game and band.

Queen, and Call of duty 5 nazi zombie mode.
It seemed brilliant when Bicycle played as me and a friend were swarmed mercilessly :D

The first Driver and some oldschool blues on high end columns, by night. Probably my most atmospheric gaming experience. And I don't even like driving games :)
the first driver kicked ass

and the second one had great maps but the jumps were a little nerfed

the 3rd one involved too much reality

but really folks, I just try to enjoy the game with what it has and not spoil it with other stuff.

Playing left 4 dead with music on shuffle is a whole new experience. Light and happy songs make the experience surreal and funny (like Sean of the Dead) whereas the darker, heavier songs add to the desperation of the situation. Swapping from one mood to another every 4 minutes or so is kind of fun.

Strangley enough... I was playing Perfect Dark on my N64 at my Dad's house(Ages ago!) and he had his Moby's "PLAY" album on. Really good mix...

recently i had a friend over and he wanted to try bioshock. so i let him he plugged in his ipod and he played this friday the thirteenth song (had something to do with halloween). it synched perfectly. i mean perfectly when nothing was going on (like a character talking or a splicer fight) it made the entire game seem nightmarish.

the next week same friend came over. he linked his gamertag so we could play halo 3. he got bored and started shuffling thought his ipod (which also has some funny one liners). so i see this guy and i aim at his head. i pull the trigger and as i watch him fall i hear BOOM HEADSHOT! come out of my speaker. we were cracking up the rest of the night.

The World is not Enough (the N64 game) with the Beatles. I don't think they mixed that well, but I always associate one with the other because of the countless times I'd played them together.

The Dead Flag Blues mixes really well with CoD4. It's by Godspeed you! Black Emperor. Highly recommended.
