I admit that I am sometimes guilty of getting annoyed at games (or other users of the game) especially when you get some punk calling you a noob (mostly likely in a ten year old voice) when the whole damn game he's camping using god damn rockets, that stupid, little mother-fffu..*cough*...
See what I mean? I have to calm down it is just a game.

I know other players can also get frustrated particularly when I hear "Son of a..."

So now it?s time to own up! What do you do when a game or other users of the game is getting the better of you?

Do you remember a time when you thought you might have taken it a bit overboard? Or can you remember a really sore loser online?

Please, do tell.

My little brother is a bit of a sore loser, damn moron broke my LB button when he slammed the controller to the ground -.-

If I can't beat a game I normally turn it off for a while and calm down before going back to it. However, my brother is a sore loser. I beat at something (can't remember what) and he threw my controller across the room and broke it.

I'm generally fairly calm even when doing badly.
In contrast my friend gets really stressy, it can be both amusing and slightly worrying.

I often find myself swearing at the TV when I play pretty much any game - for some reason I just get easily annoyed, but that's just me; I still have fun while playing the game.

One thing that really pisses me off, however, is when you have someone in a game who has their mic on and you can hear them breathing and occasionally mumbling things under their breath - if you aren't going to talk, then just MUTE the damn thing.

I remember the first time I played Oblivion and I didn't know about the wonky leveling, I was wondering why the hell the Goblins were all of a sudden gods.

100% agree with you there, breathing really pisses me off, and music in the background, i really hate that

This is the main reason ive stopped online gaming!

I admit that I dont always play by the rule, eg: on Left 4 Dead I like to go off exploring as the hunter and on Call of Duty I admittedly suck, but theres always one high pitched squeaky little kid that starts yelling at me and calling me a noob for... well having fun!

So... Screw the gaming community (at least the online bit) untill i get REALLY desperate, imm off to have fun on the single player!

I usually keep my calm when I'm doing badly and get upset.
However, if it's the other way around, I'm doing awesome I can get overly excited. I can imagine that that is pretty annoying for people around me sometimes.

We determined experimentally that WiiMotes are shaped a little too well for violent uses.
For some reason, most likely due to its shape, the Dual Shock 3 and the X360 controllers don't fly or cause bodily harm nearly as effectively as the WiiMote*.

One of the reasons we don't play the Wii anymore is that we tend to refrain from throwing controllers if the person pissing us off is not in the same room.

*The X360 controllers tested was the wireless model.

Whenever I play sports games (which isn't often) I can't help but get mad when my team starts loosing. I also have a short temper, which has resulted in two broken controllers, and one TV that I punched so hard that the colors went negative....

I generally just toss it, or log off.

I'll admit I've had WoW drive me up the fucking wall a good hundred billion times. When I did play I was stuck on a PvP server as that's where all my RL friends had setup camp and I didn't really want to leave once I'd established myself there. That said I still have never been much of a PvP player and tend to avoid it, getting gank-camped by a UD rogue for 8342759834753 hours (as they don't have lives to do anything else, or seek anyone of an actual challenge to fight back, ever) or tag team sky-camped by a team of 16 Belfs because most of our strongholds had no real defenses of any kind...yeah, I'd get a bit hot under the collar.

Honestly it's more the people that decide every daily questing zone has to be a PVP WAAAARRRRRFORTHEHOOOOOOOORRRDDDEEEZONE were the worst, the king of all dick moves being relentlessly griefing everyone in sight that tries to do that terrible, terrible spectral worg one for the Sons of Hodir. I know Alliance do this shit too, I'm not arguing that, but yeah it's a major piss off when the other team, that's 90 billion people strong and growing (as our people jump ship, or just transform instantly) is always everywhere all the time and always in the 'shoot first, camp later, always travel in PvP teams' mood. And you never are.

I know you can move, but I didn't really want to pay for it, nor did I want to leave all my roots of friends and the like behind. Nor was PvP -> PvE ever an option for free at any time...

Guh, I feel dirty now. I'm going to avoid mentioning WoW for a while, or at least until my kidneys feel better.

Back in the day, my poor little brother accidentally used the warp whistle after we got halfway through World 8 in Mario 3.

Anyone who has played through World 8 in Mario 3 knows that my rage was justified.

But yeah, in hindsight I probably shouldn't have hit him.

Normally I am a kind guy who wouldnt harm a fly. But something about Elitists pisses me off to a point of no return. Luckily I play with friends online so I have back-up at all times.

I used to be a sore loser but now I just don't give a damn for the whole state of michi-i mean, the game.

I remember throwing down controllers fairly often, especially in a sports game where receivers are 100% open for the winning touchdown after an hour game and they drop it. Grr. I like playing on a PC, when I used to throw the mouse I could use hte cord to drag it back to myself.
