Can I run GTA5 at 1080p 60 with the Redux mod on a laptop with the following specs?:

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700HQ 2.6 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070
RAM: 16 GB

If so, which graphical settings can I get away with to maintain 60?, what would be the general ballpark?

Uhhhh...well. Are you asking because you don't already own GTA 5, or are you asking because you can't be bothered to try it yourself?

If it's the latter, seriously, just download it and give it a try.

Otherwise, I want to say nnnoooyyyeeessss?

Let me put it this way. My desktop is a 980ti, 16GB of RAM, and a Xeon 1231v2 (think of it as a 4770 without overclocking capabilities). Even with that, there are areas of GTA 5 that drop below 60FPS. It's very infrequent, but it does happen. The settings you'll want to look out for the most are shadows and foliage.

Also, if you max out everything else, all the "extra" graphic options should be turned off. They offer minimal graphical fidelity unless you're really looking for it.

A core i7 won't bottleneck anything. TBH it's not even that important for gaming. The GFX is the single most important factor in how much eye candy one can enable and still enjoy high FPS. You could have an i5 and it wouldn't alter anything. The thing as always, set the resolution and max everything else, then drop features in lowest priority to you till the frame rates are fine. I normally max everything then drop down AA first, anisotropic second, water reflections/shadow quality third, though I don't really get that far :)

Is that with or without the Redux mod?, because I don't mind lowering settings if it means I can add the Redux mod.

Well, I figured the bottleneck would come from the clock speed. Four core 3 GHz and above processors are pretty normal nowadays, so I figured my 2.6 GHz CPU might introduce some bottleneck somewhere.

That was without the mod. And I was running in 1440p to be fair and not 1080p now that I think about it.

So, I should be fine? (putting into account that the mod's website estimates a 5-15 frame difference).
