I just saw a thread about the UK citizenship test and thought that the test had oddly specific questions that most citizens of the UK don't even know. I think the US test is a little fairer, but take it and you decide. It makes you choose a specific state but only a few questions are actually about that state the rest are general about our government and cultural figures.

Hey, I passed! True, it was only 5 questions and I missed 1 but it still counts! I get to stay a U.S. citizen.

U.S. citizen, 46 out of 50. I'm really bad with names and I don't know the cabinet very well. The question about the Pledge of Allegiance was bullshit, though. Yeah, the wording says "to the flag" but it's just representative of the actual country.

Still, a single bullshit question is a dramatic improvement over the UK test.

Took it twice; Once for Maryland and once for Georgia. Anyway, I passed both times I think. I missed one question for both 5-question tests. Pretty easy but I probably would have failed if I took a longer test...Well, let's see...

After taking the 50 question test for Georgia (not doing Maryland) I got 70% needing only 60 to pass. I did pretty well I guess although I should have got 100% considering I was born in the US and haven lived here for all 23 years of my life.

I got 100%! Granted it was only 5 questions but still.
I'd ask about moving to Rhode Island, but since I only got 7 out of 24 questions right in the British one, I'm not sure I'd be allowed back into Britain if I left.

82%, hell yeah! I'm a US citizen!

Edit: I'm rather middle-of-the-road when it comes to immigration issues, but why the FUCK are we asking people to know a bunch of history stuff about our country in order to get in? None of this, in no way, protects the current citizens or helps the immigrants participate in society better. They may as well as just put a "you must be this tall to enter" sign at the boarder for all the good it will do everyone.

5 outta 5, not bad for a non-American. To be honest, 2 of those were flat out guesses that just happened to be right. How the hell should I know who the senators are for Alabama anyway?

5/5, but admittedly I guessed at one of them. Really not good at keeping track of current politicians' names.

I missed ten questions on a 30 question test. They were all about the Senate, House of Representatives, etc. So I guess I should pack my bags before the CIA gets me.
