Hey guys & gals.
Simple enough- I'm looking for a game. A specific kind of game.
My brother is moving house, and in an attempt to help him move his crap out of my new room and into boxes, I notice a small pile of 'old' Xbox 360 games, seemingly untouched. (He's too busy with work now to play games really.. shame).
Anyway, the one that caught my attention was Tenchu Z. Never heard of the series before, but Edo Japan immediately perked my interest. (I study Japanese language, have lived in Japan for a year, study the history and culture etc.. so to say the least, this was PERFECT for me). I completed it in earnest, and thoroughly LOVED it. I then hunted down other Tenchu games and played them.
I LOVE THEM.
They are perfect for me. I love those stealth/ninja/hitman style games.. (especially the Hitman series. One of, if not my favourite game series of all time). Plus, it's Ninjas & samurai, and set in the exact period of my favourite country & history.. so yeah, loved 'em.
Now they are over I feel bereft, and am looking for similar, if not identical games. They don't have to be set in Japan, or in the past (but all the better if they are). As I said, I've played Hitman to death. I've also played the Thief games, and equally LOOOVED them. I tried once years ago to play Ninja Gaiden, or something like that, but hated it. Far too action-orientated.
So what do you reckon, fellow Escapists? Can you recommend me a game of a similar/same genre?
