Greetings. Now, the title may be a bit misleading, but let me ask you this. How many times have you played a game or watched a movie, then listened to a song afterwards? When you do, the characters from the game/movie seem to stick in your head and cling to every piece of data you receive in your brain.

I've got Juri Han singing songs from Ke$ha, the Engineer is singing country, and Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine are having a ball doing Evanescence. Oh, and the Spy is Richard Cheese.

I guess since I'm a fanfiction writer of Street Fighter- heh, that rhymes- I tend to notice the little things in life. Has this sort of thing happened to you before? There's got to be a name for this phenomenon, everything usually has one.

I don't know the name but I've got Trick Daddy's "Let's Go" stuck in my head for about four days now.

With the first time i hit 210km/h+ on the freeway, because it was playing.
Love that song.

No... not excactly. I don't get characthers clinging to every bit of information, but if I hear music or remixes of music form a game, I get a urge to play the game which the music comes from. Does that kinda count?

Yeah. It goes with having an over active imagination. But having decidedly less creativity to come up with my own characters/ worlds.

EDIT: as for which song is stuck in my head at the moment:
