Castle Crashers!

What does anyone think of this Game? It has been out on XBLA for a while now, and will soon be out on PS3 online (if not already)... So What do you think? Also which is you favorite character to play as. Mine is either the Fire Demon, The Alien Homonid or the Bear.

I personally bought it out of an undying respect for Tom Fulp.
And while it houses it's own pretty original premise and avente garde visual style, when broken down to it's core mechanics it's often mediocre.

I love it.
Once i get an Xbox it will be one of the games i download right off the bat.
I like to play as the Ice Knight and the Electric Knight.

This game is awesome, but I could never be bothered to play through it a second time/ unlock any of the hidden characters. That being said, I did buy Alien Hominid to unlock the alien (and because I liked CC so much).

Didn't like Alien Hominid at all, but it was cheap so I'm not too bothered.

Didn't like Alien Hominid at all, but it was cheap so I'm not too bothered.

I think a lot of people bought it for that reason, but I think that AH was very difficult. I HAVE however, finished it on the hardest difficulty, so I don't know really. Also, I bought it before castle crashers even graced the XLBA with its presence. Incidentally, I also find CC endlessly re-playable almost, although that might be just me.

And what id love even more is a game from scratch, 4 players picking a character and finishing the game =o

I love it. Fun as hell, funny, and it just works.

Reminds me alot of Alien Hominid. That saying, I love both very much

It was made by the same people as Alien Homonid, so maybe that was how they seem alike?

It's awesome. Definitely worth the 15 bucks or whatever it costed, I don't remember. A must buy game for the XBLA. Orange knight was my favorite, with bee keeper taking a close second because his attacks are funny as hell.

It was partly the difficulty, but also that I just didn't find it's level structure very fun. I liked levelling up in Castle Crashers, and I kind of missed that in Alien Hominid. Plus it looks terrible, and plays kind of oddly, something they fixed in CC.

Yeah it's coming out for Playstation network soonish... I remember reading about that on the Behemoth forums.

What do you mean kind of oddly? I ask because I found it fine to play.

Awesome soundtrack. Nice visual style. Basic gameplay, but it works.
