WARNING! SPOILERS!
Castlevania has always been a favorite franchise of mine. I started off at a young age playing Symphony of the Night as one of my first games. I still admire the series very much (in case you can't tell), despite a few things that have been done to the series recently (different art style, Castlevania Judgement....). Then came Lords of Shadow. While i was a little sad that the series that I adored had been changed completely, from a free-roaming sidescroller to a more Western-looking, linear, hack n slash, I was still optimistic.
Finally, after a long time of waiting, i got to experience the game. and I liked it. Of course, i had to keep reminding myself that it was in fact a castlevania game, but still.
Then... i got to the ending, and i was absolutely shocked.
They had warped the story into something that i found hard to accept as a fan of the series. i mean, i guess it's kind of cool, but...
Any thoughts on the ending? what was your reaction?
