Here is the fifth episode of Checkpoint: Basement Level. I reviewed Alan Wake, hope you enjoy it! I'm still looking for good feedback.

Actually, I'm pretty impressed. I haven't been reading many reviews here recently but after seeing this clip I decided to check out some of your other ones on Youtube. I like the little dramatic bits you work into it, and your verbal delivery is solid.

Whether or not I wind up agreeing with you about the specifics, you get what your trying to get accross well, and manage to make things entertaining without going into an acidic slice and dice routine. I'll definatly be keeping an eye out for your stuff, as a counterpoint to Yahtzee. If you keep it up maybe you'll be able to become a professional reviewer, you seem to have more talent than most of the people doing similar things.

To put things into perspective I've been a bit of a fan of Slasher Thrasher/Whity The Reviewer, as I respect their opinions. But formatting, and smooth verbal delivery have never been their strong points, and while good amateurs I never thought that either of them produced solidly enough to actually try and go pro and find someone to sponsor them.

Wow, thanks for the kind words :) You seem surprised. A lot of people say things like 'hey this doesn't suck like I thought it would'. Why is that?
