...with this thing of beauty. I was honestly surprised that I hadn't heard about this anywhere.

I feel like I finally got the closure I wanted! This is what I wanted to see as the absolute last quest in Witcher 3: an easter egg for people who completed every single quest and contract. A big ol' party at Corvo Bianco with everyone, and I mean everyone from the main game.

I don't know what else to say. This kind of thing is just absolutely wonderful. God I fucking love Witcher 3!

I've still not finished The Witcher 3 and I've had it from release. It's weird as I love it while playing it but I don't feel any real pull to return to it in between sessions.

I know what you mean as I?ve felt that with the first two. But, they are still some of my all time favorite games. It?s really odd, but I think in my case it?s because the games are pretty daunting in size. I?m waiting until my immediate backlog is complete before starting TW3 though, because I think it will deserve my full gaming attention.

Even if I'm not that invested in the series (Only played Witcher 2 for a couple of hours but I got 125 hours for Witcher 3) it was nice and felt personal.

and what happened then? Well, in Whoville they say, that Bartholen's small heart grew three sizes that day.

No, but seriously, that's an awesome concept. CD projekt proving they deserve their good reputation. Granted, I got insane sensory overstimulation from how much there was to do in the witcher 3... but that easter egg sounds like it'll be a blast when I finally complete all the quests in witcher 3... sometime around 2021

The Witcher 3 is my favorite game of all time. I still play it. I complete it and then I start a new game. Why? Because I have to play something, and The Witcher 3 ruined most other games for me. The only other game that I played this year from start to finish was Divinity Original Sin 2. I loved it, sure, but it's not The Witcher 3.

One day I will play Witcher 3...maybe...

But I need to get through 1 and 2 first.

What about skipping the first and only playing the second?

For God's sake (and for your sanity's)! Do NOT touch Witcher 1 with a 10 foot pole (hue hue hue unintended pun hur hur) unless you have an obsessive fetish for repetition and boredom for 30 hours.

I already have. I only stopped cause my data got deleted somehow. I actually thought the gameplay was fine, though the swamp was unpleasant.

Eh jeez, are we still on the Witcher?! They had 10 years to make a game with gameplay that doesn't feel like starting an Airbus 600 and still couldn't. I don't think that's worth celebrating!

Yeah, Witcher 3 (with both expansions, especially), is easily a top 5 game of all time for me, and this was a nice little treat.

Hey CD Projekt! Edited out the utterly immature and tasteless forced sex scenes/nudity yet? No?

*continues to ignore the Witcher series*

You referring to the third game? Because there's no forced sex scenes in that, and the only nudity is a couple of boobs within the 100+ hours of no-boobs.

Lots of Geralt in the bathtub, tho. But I think that falls under the definition of "tasteful nudity", IMO.

Yeah, lots of Geralt running around in a towel, too.

I'm exactly like that with W3. I pick it up from time to time, play it for a few days, then suddenly just don't feel any pull to go back to it any more. And another few months later the same happens. The game is so awesome, and I want to finish it some time, but it seems my progress will be very slow.

There are no forced sex scenes in W3 as far as I know. Sure there's nudity, and some intimacy here and there. And the game isn't afraid to show all of that to you. But the sex scenes are pretty much all avoidable. In fact, the only one I've encountered so far (though I'm not super far into the story yet) is one I had to actively pursue through dialogue to get it.

The first (Enhanced Edition of course) isn't nearly as bad as some people make it out to be, even from a gameplay standpoint. Sure, it's different and a bit stilted (dat Bioware engine), but altogether playable. In terms of everything besides the improved combat mechanics and graphics of 2, I still prefer the original by quite a good margin.

Speaking of, this is one of the more impressive user mods I've seen lately -

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang. I lost my first Witcher 3 playthrough's save file a while ago, and when I played it and the expansions again recently, I deliberately made a lot of opposite decisions for shits-and-giggles...no Bloody Baron reunion for me...

:(

Aw, it's not that bad. It's just vastly overshadowed by its successors.

To give you an idea, the Witcher game started out as a Neverwinter Nights mod [https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015/07/15/the-witcher-retrospective/]. Those are some damn humble origins.
