Characters you hate from series you love.

Oh, the black sheep of the series.

You don't know if it just the voice, the character, or if they were written by a complete moron stuffed into a closest, but these Black Sheep just make you want to rip out your skull. The series can be a gold encrusted diamond milkshake, but this character is still kept shoved into your face and demands your love.

ummm, aside from any child character in a science fiction or horror film or series, ever , probably the only characters that would fit that for me would be Ross and Rachel from Friends. in fact, those two characters are pretty much what kept me from ever identifying myself as a fan of that show.

I agree completely on Wesley.

Mine would be Benjamin Sisko from Deep space 9. The way that guy talks... And laughs... Sadly, lead characters don't get killed off.
Also pretty much up there with Wesley, the ever annoying Nog or however you write Quark's nephew. Annoying, annoying, annoying.

but they both got better! i agree that both were annoying as hell to begin with, but by the end of the series, they'd both come into their own, in my opinion.

Peter Pevensie from the Chronicles of Narnia.

It's a little harder (for me at least) to pick up on in the books he's in, but in the films this guy is a JERK! They try to characterise it as being protective of his siblings, but he comes across as such an asshole I can't possibly be sad that he's gone from the series. Particularly when it comes to Edmund, he's such a douche. I get that Edmund "doesn't do as he's told" but come on, what kid does?

If it wasn't for Peter being a prime dick, Edmund wouldn't go to Jadis and rat them out. Plus when Peter and Susan finally get to Narnia, they make Edmund apologise to Lucy, but they don't apologise to her themselves for not believing her, it just gets shrugged away.

Plus I don't think he ever aplogises for being a dick to Edmund, or thanks him, even when WHEN Edmund could have very well saved his life at the cost of his own. When Edmund's cured Prter just says "don't you ever do as your told?" Yeah it's played as a cute moment, but he never says 'thank you for pretty much saving my life' to him.

I think that's the point. She's meant to be horribly annoying.

Orihime from bleach. Most useless character in anything, ever in the entire existance of the universe. She has one line she repeats in the same whinny tone all the fucking time... I hope she get's killed off at some point...

I can't think of a character I don't like in a series I love. There is no-one in The Wire, Deadwood, The West Wing, or Life that I don't appreciate.

Sakura from Naruto Shippuden. At the start of the series she gets a huge awesome fight to show the audience that shes not completely useless now, and than spends the rest of the series doing fuck all

Alex from Golden Sun. I've wanted to kill him for OH SO LONG and when I finally think I'll be able to in Dark Dawn, he backstabs his allies and helps us, and we don't get to fight him. *headdesk*

Cameron from Terminator:SCC.

Terminators are meant to be scary, relentless machines. SCC started out strong but after a while I swear it became the Summer Glau Fetish Hour.

This isn't Summer Glau's fault of course, and any small measure of redemption she may have needed in my eyes was well and truly earned with a cracker of a performance as Supergirl in Batman\Superman: Apocalypse.

I don't hate her, but I don't really like Zoey from How I Met Your Mother. I'm glad her relationship with Ted is going to end, and that she's not the mother.

And I never liked Rita in Arrested Development. She was too dumb.

Shadow from the Sonic the Hedgehog games. He had one really great appearance in Adventure 2, after that...sigh. Overexposure and explaining his back story made him overdone...a lot.

I don't really love the series, but I'll always think of Light from Death Note as a total prick.

Ashley Williams from Mass effect. She's a racist, and a *****, two of my most hated qualities in a person. Trust me when the time came to choose between saving her or Kaiden, I couldn't choose Kaiden fast enough.
