I've recently purchased Mortal Kombat 9 and after playing it and getting bored of it I've decided to trade it in to buy some cheap old titles for Xbox 360.

Could anyone recommend some good cheap titles (prefer more than 2)with a budget of £20-25, I'm a fan of any genre and at the moment I have a serious lack of games; RB6:V2, GOW, GOW2, COD4, MW2, BOPS, FIFA11

Thanks

Blitz the league 1 and 2 The first one is for the 360 on amazon.com for 0.01 cents and amazon.ca for like 2.99, the second one is a bit more costly but they are both fun all the same.

Think by defenition of beeing cheap a lot of games turn out to be 'worth' it in the end.

I feel like buying Clive Barkers Jericho again, not the best game in the world, but it was fun and had a plot that kept me interested.

Deadly Premonition, for having the weirdest plot, music and characters i've seen for a while, while still being really cheap

Might help if you post the price list where you're trading it in.
Video game prices vary wildly from place to place.

If you don't mind hack'n'slash Darksiders is really cheap. It's not very original, but it was fun. And if you like it, a sequel is supposed to be coming out next year.

Persona 3 or 4?

Any kind of specific details? Does it have to be something you can get in a gamestop(or wherever) is digital ok too? If so just check the $10 or less section.

Also what platforms are ok?

Pick up some older gems that you might have overlooked the first time. I echo the earlier sentiment on Psychonauts. Beyond Good and Evil is another good one that you can pick up on the cheap.

I think The Orange Box is about £10 these days. Ninja Gaiden 2 is pretty cheap I think. For £20 - £25 you could also pick up a last gen console and a few games (Gamecube is especially cheap at the boot fairs or on ebay)

Red Ninja: End of Honor.

It's far from a great game. The first boss is cheap beyond belief and will frustrate you to no end. After that there are some control issues as well. On the plus side it was really entertaining, with unique and inventive combat. You're a sexy ninja who has a chain weapon (NOT like Kratos) that can do a variety of different attacks like hanging people, wrapping them up, creating a clothes line, etc. You can also creep seductively from behind something inviting a guy over to have fun with you, and then when he comes slit his neck.

I have the feeling it would have been a top level game if it hadn't been done by an indie studio without the funds to really develop it. Or maybe they just dropped all their funds in the ending cinematic.

United Kingdom
Mortal Kombat 9 (Xbox 360)
GAME (trade in range for a new title in the charts is £20-25)

So far I've thought about; Far cry 2, Fifa 10, Halo Wars, Hitman Bloodmoney, Darksiders, SC: Conviction

Obviously I'm not getting all of them but I'm considering some of these.

I am in this position quite a bit it seems. The problem with recommending a cheap game is idk whats in your local bin. See what's there and grab the most interesting thing to you. I had a lot of fun with Silent Hill: Homecoming for under 5 Canadian. Not the greatest game ever, but way more than 5 bucks worth of fun. I felt i got a good deal.

P.S. Everyone - his post, it speaks of the 360. No steam on there. Beyond Good and Evil is EPIC, but not on 360.

My mini-review of Farcry 2:

Personally I HATED Farcry 2 and traded it almost immediately. There is no minimap to show you where you need to go or where you are, the map is huuuge and it all looks the same. Destinations are so far from each other you can't see them in the distance, adding to the whole getting lost thing. The vehicles handle like crap, which sucks because getting lost driving from A to B is most of the game. Don't worry though, you won't get bored while you're driving because every warm body within a ten mile radius wants to kill you and they can see you from the next town over. Good luck surviving long enough to get out of your vehicle and shoot back.

Farcry 2: 3/10 (3 points for being pretty at least)

Yes! A (very) slow starter, but an amazingly quirky and fun game. It's a shame Giant Bomb's endurance run missed so much of the world and played the game so linear. I met all the townspeople and did many quests before even going to the town-hall, lol. Made the characters much more believable and real.

OT: Very fun and addictive old, old school RPGs. [http://basiliskgames.com/]

I'm sure TF2 is $10 on Steam, and the Orange Box (which includes TF2 along with four other games) is around $20-$25.
