Lactose intolerants, consider yourself warned: This thread may contain upsetting amounts of cheese.

This is a thread in which people may enjoy and reminisce about their favorite "so cheesy it's good" songs from the 80's. This thread is specifically about the 1980's. Feel free to share stories about all the wacky things you did in the 80's, like being conceived. Points for youtube embeds {youtube=nKWbMJOIkUk} (with [ ] instead), crazy 80's hair, crazy 80's clothing and bonus points for anything made of animal hide in the video.

Starting this thread off with some classic Kajagoogoo.

Well i was born in September of 1987 so i was nearing the end of this crazy era of history. But from what i've seen as far as crazy hair goes i think this tops them.

Dare by Stan Bush is one of the more hilariously cheesy synthesizer power rock bits I've ever heard. I fail at imbedding videos though. >.<;

I guess the escapist doesn't like being Rick Rolled. Fair enough.
This is for Chris Barber: how dare you insult my childhood! (pun intended)

Yay for the '80's!

Someone mentioned Yazoo above, so I think I'll add my own little contribution.

Also, one of my favourite Gowan songs:

Here's a catchy little disco dance tune. If anyone tells me that it's by FloRida, I'm going to break them.

Did someone say "Cheese"?

Go on, try and watch them all in one sitting. I DARE you.

Rebecca Black? Pah, she isn't even diet-cheese.

I got 8 seconds into that, realised what was about to be unleashed and promptly paused and left.
You did the right thing. There's a level of curd resistance that only children of the 70s can withstand. We had the Brotherhood of Man and the Nolan Sisters to strengthen us.

Although, if you want pure, undiluted 80s cheese...

I'm gonna go with "We Are The World". Charity songs are just so....bleeeeccchhhh. I hate the fake emotion....

God, I hate that song.

Also....
Most redundant lyrics ever.
