Ok so lets set a few ground rules before we go anywhere with this.
1) Climate change is happening.
2) The effects of said global warming are going to cause a lot of people to become very upset and even more to be very dead.
3) It doesn't matter what the cause is, be it us and the industrial revolution or a natural cycle of the planet. It all amounts to the same future for the human race in both cases.
4) When we really want to and have got enough determination we can move mountains and send men to moon. We don't just live in our world to an extent we can shape it to be the way we want it.
So then what do you suppose we do about it? How would you save us all from the horror?
dintions analysis <- CAPTCHA may be on to something here guys...Does anyone have a dintion analyzer knocking about?
EDIT
For clarification this thread is supposed to be viewed as a thought experiment. So the rules are the conditions of the experiment. If you think that sounds stupid then maybe it is. Although it was a thought experiment involving the crazy idea that time and space were not absolute that eventually lead to the idea that E might be equivalent to mc[sup]2[/sup]. Without knowing that and what it tells you about the way the universe works would make a lot of modern technology imposable.
I'm not saying this is as grand, this is just meant to be a bit of fun.
