The cheesy, high level CGI intro videos of the past come back for one more hurrah. Reserved for intro videos that looked glorious for the time and set a record level of appearing differently between what was presented in cutscenes and in-game.
?Blaster Master: Blasting Again? was released as a PS1 exclusive all the way into in 2001! The game is a combat heavy platformer that tasks you with traversing the dark caverns of various energies and foreboding enemies in your armored vehicle or sometimes, alone and on your own. It adopts the designs of the 8-bit original and 2-D entries into a 3D foray while continuing the plot and maintaining the same atmosphere. It was published by the ?low profile? Crave Entertainment and in fact ,all of its entries (including this one) are made by SunSoft who largely works on solely Japanese projects these days.
This is actually a 2 part intro; the first section is the flashy montage you see just before the game screen, then comes the 1st immediate story cutscene.
