The cheesy, high level CGI intro videos of the past come back for one more hurrah. Reserved for intro videos that looked glorious for the time and set a record level of appearing differently between what was presented in cutscenes and in-game.
Lego Rock Raiders was released as a PC game in 1999 and later on the PlayStation 1. The game is a Real-Time Strategy game that focuses on mining. The designs are based on the related Lego Creation Sets released at around the same time. It was published by the Lego Media Group and developed by the badly overshadowed Data Design Interactive. This game somewhat escaped that wrath, but DDI appears to have perished in its own dooming releases.
