you know those songs that make you feel unlike anything else? Like you are a god among mortals, a giant among ants? The songs/sounds that you go back to time and time again and they never seem to get old? For me there are a few songs that really stick out for me:

Lost Horizon - Highlander (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlvFn6afIoU and because most of you won't listen through the entire song, at least hear what is in my opinion the best part: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMRvp4g2cdA)

Sabaton - 40:1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epeQwq-aYV0)

Edguy - The Piper Never Dies (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PP1b1Kts3WI)

What about you guys? do any of you have a song/sound that makes you feel amazing, in a way that nothing else on this earth can? Let's hear some great music!

Almost any Beatles song. Especially the beginning of "Money" and "Hey Bulldog".

Oh, and "Somebody to Love" by Jefferson Airplane.

Whenever I'm listening to the radio or something and hear an awesome rock/metal song, it instantly causes and 'eargasm' once they throw in some Violins.

This song literally gives me chills. The melody and background sets a creepy yet calm atmosphere. And then near the end of the song a heavy riff bursts out and the singing comes in. It almost makes me cry a bit. So beautiful...

The old band called Hummingbird, you may know it from their awesome cover of "You Can't Hide Love" which was on GTA 4.

That's one of their great instrumentals, but their overall best song "Let it burn" isn't on youtube :x.
I highly suggest anyone into funk and the likes or actually any music at all to check it out (album = We Can't Go On Meeting Like This)

Oh and anything by Jason Becker ever. (mainly the album perpetual burn)

and the bit at 1:23 of this:

Electric Wizard, Return Trip.
I tried listening to it. I really did.
It's just so..........boring. I got a little over halfway through.

Anyway, as for my contribution:
This song always makes me smile.

Well, you should meet my ex. I could give her the biggest...Oh, you mean eargasm in a non-literal sense. Right.

The cadences to both the Cowboy Bebop theme Tank! and the Magnum Force Theme are pretty close. It tends to be short phrases in music that give me the best eargasms. Too many to list; there would be things like one of the bridges in The Ghost in the Shell theme Aeris Gloris (Yoko Kanno is a goddess) or the violin solos in Django Reinhardt's Minor Swing.

If I was going to pick one song only to show everyone, it would be Ennio Morricone's Ecstasy of Gold:

Morning Mood by Edvard Grieg. It never fails to amaze me for some reason.
